Overview

The D780 DSLR camera from Nikon is an excellent choice for professional videography and photography work. Designed with a 24.5MP full-frame sensor, it is possible to record videos and shoot still of high-resolution. The sensor also has a BSI designed for increased clarity with reduced noise levels making the camera suitable for use in different lighting environments. The sensor also enables a wide sensitivity range from ISO 100-51200, which can be expanded to ISO 50-204800, along with a quick 7 fps shooting rate with the viewfinder or 12 fps in live view. Nikon D780 can record up to UHD 4K video recording at up to 30 fps using either full-frame or cropped areas and Full HD recording up to 120 fps along with integrated N-Log Gamma and HLG settings for refined color control.

 

With the viewfinder you get a 51-point phase-detection autofocus system that also includes 15 cross-type points for greater accuracy in lowly-lit conditions. When recording a video or in live view, a 273-point Hybrid AF system is used that blends on-sensor phase-detection points and a contrast-detection system for quick performance and excellent subject tracking, including support for Eye-Detection AF. Other features of this camera include a large 3.2″ 2.36m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD, a 0.7x-magnification pentaprism optical viewfinder, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless file transferring along with remote camera control from a mobile device. One more feature is the support for dual UHS-II SD memory card slots. The included EN-EL15b lithium-ion battery provides approximately 2260 shots per charge.

 

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Lens

In this package, the AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR zoom lens from Nikon is also included. It covers focal lengths ranging from wide-angle to telephoto with a constant f/4 maximum aperture for consistent performance throughout the zoom range. This lens also has VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization which minimizes the illusion of camera shake during video recording. Coupled with the incorporation of a Silent Wave Motor, this lens is fast, smooth and quiet when in use. Two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements are integrated into the optical design to reduce aberrations and distortions and improve contrast, clarity, and color fidelity. Additionally, multi-layered Super Integrated and Nano Crystal Coatings have also been applied to lens elements to minimize flare and ghosting for optimized light transmission.
