Overview of the DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone Combo with RC 2 Controller

The Mini 4 Pro Drone is the latest addition to the Mini-series of professional drones from DJI allowing it’s users to fly even more safer and farther. Mini 4 Pro has such upgrades as the addition of vision sensing and improved transmission range when compared to its predecessor. It also has omnidirectional obstacle avoidance instead of the previous generation’s tri-directional avoidance for all-round protection.

 

Making use of OcuSync 4, the transmission range has been expanded to upto 20 km or 12.4 miles. Other new features include slower motion in 4K at 100 fps and complex route planning using ActiveTrack. It still maintains the true vertical shooting feature to conform to social media needs without the need for post-processing.

 

This drone’s camera has a 1/1.3″ sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and dual native ISO, 4K HDR support and large 2.4μm pixels. You also get the benefit of slow motion when recording in 4K while image noise is reduced in lowly lit environment thanks to system’s aperture and pixel size allowing a considerable amount of light to get to the sensor.

 

Additionally, the Mini 4 Pro provides you with the benefit of slow motion at a stunning 4K resolution. Images and videos can be captured from farther away with up to 4x digital zoom, and professionals will enjoy support for 10-bit D-Log M and HLG color modes.

 

All-Round Protection

Mini 4 Pro has ominidirectional obstacle avoidance capability with a downward binocular vision sensor, six fisheye vision sensors, a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) depth sensor, and a downward auxiliary light. It also has a return to home feature.

 

OcuSync 4

This transmission system has improved Mini 4 Pro’s transmsmission range to upto 20 km. The distance does not affect the video quality which stands at 1080p60 for smooth footage.

 

True Vertical Shooting

For your social media needs, the Mini 4 Pro camera gimbal can rotate to allow for vertical shoots for both images and videos.

 

Creative Modes and Tracking

FocusTrack: This system includes ActiveTrack, Spotlight, and Point of Interest for wide-ranging subject tracking. With the Mini 4 Pro, ActiveTrack now offers Trace Mode and the ability to follow specific flight routes when tracking, compared to previous generations’ fixed direction tracking.

 

Hyperlapse: Create time-lapse shots with different shooting modes: Free, Waypoint, Circle, and Course Lock

 

MasterShots: Select your subject, and the Mini 4 Pro will automatically perform pro-style maneuvers for cinematic results using one of three shooting modes: Portrait, Proximity, and Landscape.

 

QuickShot: Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, Boomerang, and Asteroid

 

Panorama: Capture stunning vistas in one of four available panorama modes: 180°, wide angle, vertical, and sphere. An integrated tilt angle is also used to better capture the sky in your panoramas.

 

Advanced Return To Home

Like most DJI drones, the Mini 4 Pro can intelligently map a course route and return to it’s point of takeoff if needed. It also combines that ability with the omnidirectional obstacle avoidance feature to ensure that it comes back without any crashes.

 

Fly More Combo Plus Kit

This version’s package comes with the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus accessories. These enable the user to fly for longer periods of time while providing ease in doing the job. They are, two additional intelligent plus flight batteries, for 90 additional minutes of flying, three extra pairs of propellers, a two way charging hub to recharge your batteries quickly as well as a shoulder bag for storage and easier transportation.
