Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k ( BMPCC 6k )is better than a simple video camera because it has professional features allowing you to create the same “look” as Hollywood feature films. The combination of high dynamic range, great low light performance and Blackmagic RAW gives you feature film images with precise skin tones and gorgeous organic colors. You get advanced features such as 6K, large 5″ LCD for easy focus, SD card and CFast media, external USB‑C media disk recording, EF lens mounts and more! DaVinci Resolve Studio is also included for editing, color correction, audio post and VFX!

 

The Blackmagic Design Pocket 6K Cinema Camera is a professional camera with a Super 35 sensor thus enabling it to capture footage at up to 50 fps 6144 x 3456 in a boon to lens connoisseurs everywhere. This camera has also been designed featuring an active Canon EF mount, thus, it allows you to make use of the expansive array of EF/EF-S–mount lenses available. This camera can turn one frame into two by cropping a second shot from one frame, to upscale to 8K, or to simply capture rich, detailed footage with your favorite EF/EF-S–mount lens. It has an internal color processing that makes it easy to intercut BMPCC 6K with BMPCC 4K footage.

 

While recording, you could use the internal CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II card slots or output via the USB-C port to capture longer clips to an external drive. It also includes a DaVinci Resolve Studio license and supports Blackmagic Raw capture from the sensor. Using the Raw format with the sensor’s metadata simplifies editing to suit any project and makes editing easier with DaVinci Resolve. It has retained the familiar controls and menu layout of the 4K version in a minimally deeper form to accommodate the EF lens mount.

Whether you’re shooting in bright sunlight or in almost no light at all, it features 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO up to 25,600 for stunning low noise images in all lighting conditions. Plus a Super 35 sensor allows shooting with a shallow depth of field and anamorphic lenses. You can also shoot up to 60 fps in full resolution or 120 fps windowed. With Blackmagic Generation 4 Color Science, you get the same imaging technology as our most expensive digital film cameras.
